The 2022 Kia Forte’s exterior features a new design in the front and rear. The new design introduces a new signature tiger-nose grille, revised front and rear bumpers, sleeker, more expressive headlights, and LED fog lights, which are integrated into the air-intake grille of the GT and GT-Line. The LXS and GT-Line sport new 16-inch and 17-inch dark gray alloy wheel designs. The GT and GT-Line get a sportier LED taillight. The new trunk lid spoiler highlights the Forte’s rear width and stability.

Interior Review of the 2022 Kia Forte

The 2022 Kia Forte houses a standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen. The GT-Line and GT trims feature a larger 10.3-inch touchscreen with navigation and SiriusXM satellite radio. Available features found throughout the lineup include 60/40 split-folding rear seats, a flat-bottom, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a rear center armrest, a remote start, synthetic leather seating, a power sunroof, wireless charging, among others. The Forte seats up to five people throughout its two rows.

Performance of the 2022 Kia Forte

The Forte is powered by either a 2.0-liter engine that produces 147 horsepower and a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine that generates 201 horsepower. The latter is paired with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission or a six-speed manual transmission. The turbocharged 1.6-liter engine comes with a multi-link rear suspension and a dual sport-tuned exhaust.
