The Kia Carnival is an all-new release from Kia. The Kia Carnival is the automaker's latest minivan that is designed to replace the Kia Sedona. The 2022 Kia Carnival has the same spacious and comfortable interior as its predecessor, but it also has some marked differences, including a changed exterior design. The Kia Carnival borrows its design from the Kia Sorento, making it appear more like an SUV than a minivan on the outside. The cabin comes loaded with safety features and technology, and it also has class-leading storage space of more than 145 cubic feet. A flexible seating arrangement makes the Kia Carnival a suitable choice for families of all sizes on the go.
The 2022 Kia Carnival comes in five trim levels. The collection starts with the LX, followed by the LX Seat Package. The EX and SX are mid-level trims, and the SX Prestige tops the line. The LX can be ordered in four paint colors, while you have a choice of six exterior paint colors with the others. Satin chrome trim accents give the SX and SX Prestige a glamorous look. The top two trims also have roof rails. LED headlights are included across the lineup, and the top trims also have LED taillights. The LX trim levels have 17-inch alloy wheels, while the EX switches to 19-inch alloys with a machine finish. The SX trims have 17-inch wheels with a glossy black finish. All trims of the Kia Carnival have the same engine that produces 290 HP. The Kia Carnival can tow 3,500 pounds.
The cabin of the 2022 Kia Carnival is designed to impress and entertain at any trim level. The LX standard touchscreen is an eight-inch display, while the other trim levels upgrade to a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen instead. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth are standard features on all trims. A second entertainment system is added to the back row in the top Kia Carnival trim levels. Satellite radio and navigation are added to the top three trim levels. The first two trims have a six-speaker sound system upgraded to an eight-speaker system on the mid-level trims.
