The Kia Soul is the boxy subcompact crossover SUV that you have had your eye on, and the introduction of the 2021 model is the perfect reason for you to make an update. Last year’s Soul benefited from a gorgeous transformation from bumper to bumper with its third generation launch. Despite its major renovation in 2020, the Soul reflects several updates for the 2021 model. Specifically, all trims now have a standard rear occupant alert for improved passenger safety. The GT-Line and X-Line trims add upgraded shock valves. If you choose to drive the EX or the Turbo trim levels, you can take advantage of integrated remote start on the key fob. The Turbo trim also shows off updated badging on the liftgate, the steering wheel, and the front grille.
This popular crossover reflects an eye-catching exterior design complete with smooth angles through the profile and a subtle touch of definition on the side doors. The front end is notably stunning with an LED light bar that runs from end to end, and that dips gently below the elongated headlights. The interior of the Soul is equally bold, with dual-tone coloring across the seats and dashboard. Select trims add new design touches to the inside door panels. Most of the 2021 trims are equipped with an I4, 2.0-liter engine and put out 147 horsepower. The top-of-the-line Turbo trim has a 1.6-liter turbo engine that raises the stakes with 201 horsepower.
