What's New for the 2020 Kia Soul?
The Kia Soul is a subcompact crossover SUV with an exciting personality and modern appeal. The model made a big debut in 2008, and the 2020 model year introduces the Soul's third generation with considerable excitement. The Soul has been revamped from bumper to bumper with the generational change. This year's Soul continues to have the cubical shape that the brand is known for, but it reflects smooth surfaces with certain angles throughout the roof and hood. The sides have in-depth, angled definition across their lower panels. At the front, a gorgeous accent piece connects the two LED headlights. These headlights show off four round lights underlined by an LED light ribbon. A large grille with black mesh flows to the bottom of the front fascia. This vehicle's interior and exterior features include a UVO link system with a 10.25-inch screen, a navigation system, a premium sound system, remote keyless entry, a rear camera, LED interior lighting, and a heated steering wheel, and many other features.
The Soul's performance capabilities have been revamped as well. The entry-level powertrain is unchanged from last year. This is an I4, 2.0-liter gas machine that produces 147 horsepower. The top trim level comes with an all-new 1.6-liter turbo engine that delivers 201 horsepower. All trims have front-wheel drive, stabilizer bars, power steering, a MacPherson front strut, a coupled torsion beam rear axle, and gas shock absorbers. The top trim now also comes with a sport-tuned suspension system for improved performance.
